Dr. Sheila Marco
Trained in Kenya, Canada and India, Dr. Marco is a highly skilled Consultant Ophthalmologist. She has been in practice for over 15 years and has extensive experience in medical and surgical treatment of various eye conditions. In addition to her Masters Degree in Ophthalmology, Dr Marco has a sub-speciality Fellowship in Glaucoma from Alberta, Canada as well as cataract surgery training in India.
Dr. Marco is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Ophthalmology, University of Nairobi and also serves as a part-time Faculty Lecturer at the Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi.
She has a passion in creation of awareness of potentially blinding eye diseases e.g. glaucoma and cataract and has been involved in many Eye Screening projects.

Dr Sarah Sitati is a Pediatric Ophthalmologist and Squint specialist (for both childhood and adult strabismus). She completed her MMed training at the University of Nairobi, Kenya, followed by a Pediatric Ophthalmology fellowship in the USA. She is the Chair of the Retinopathy of Prematurity working group in Kenya, which published the National Guidelines for Screening and Management of ROP in Kenya. Aside from ROP, Dr Sitati has over ten years’ experience in the management of pediatric and adult cataract, ocular trauma and squints. She has published research papers and given several presentations in regional and international conferences. She is the current treasurer of COECSA (College of Ophthalmology of Eastern, central and Southern Africa).
